John Kuenstler and Charity Seaborn presented at a Strafford webinar, “Sexual Harassment and Discrimination: Identifying Unlawful Behavior, Reporting, Retaliation, and Consequences for Bad Behavior.” The presentation focused on legal requirements for annual harassment training under the Illinois Human Rights Act and the Chicago Human Rights Ordinance. John covered topics such as the differences in how harassment, discrimination and retaliation are defined by the acts, how to recognize and correct harassment in the workplace, and how to effectively report and correct workplace harassment. Charity discussed how to address inappropriate workplace behavior, various forms and examples of discrimination and harassment, and bystander intervention training. The presentation was attended by numerous certified public accounting firms in Illinois.
