This benefits update will discuss best practices for a smart restart of businesses and organizations in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our benefits attorneys will walk you through recent relief provided to plan sponsors, fiduciaries and participants and will discuss organizational to-dos.
The speakers will address recent guidance from the IRS and Department of Labor primarily related to COVID-19 relief for employee benefit plan sponsors, fiduciaries and participants. We will also provide a benefits checklist for plan sponsors to identify important design and compliance issues in the second half of 2020 and beyond.
