Michael C. Zogby and Sarah E. Johnston served on the faculty of the Bench, Bar and Bankruptcy Complex Litigation Forum 2022, hosted by George Washington University Law School’s James F. Humphreys Complex Litigation Center in Washington, D.C., in November. The bench-bar conference examined changes in MDL practices and complex litigation case management, along with various issues that arose during and after the global pandemic and the impact those challenges have had on how dockets are managed both in and out of the courtroom. Mike participated on the panel “Special Challenges in Managing Large Mass Tort Litigations” along with defense counsel, plaintiffs’ counsel, and Professor Roger Transgrud of the law school. Sarah was on a panel with defense counsel and plaintiffs’ counsel to discuss “Communication Among Bench, Bar, and Others in Complex Litigation.”
