Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer
Allen Media Broadcasting

Byron Allen is the founder, chairman, and CEO of Allen Media Broadcasting and its Entertainment Studios – the first African American-owned multi-platform media studio – which produces more than 60 syndicated TV shows; owns The Weather Channel and seven more 24-hour cable networks; acquires and distributes features like 47 Meters Down and Hostiles; snapped up TheGrio, a Black-interests website; and, most recently, purchased 15 local TV stations representing all the Big Four broadcast networks.

Allen has witnessed firsthand the roadblocks to Black entrepreneurs wanting a piece of big media, and seeks to use his sphere of influence to effectuate racial equity through education, equal justice, economic inclusion, and environmental protection. We hope you can join us for an impactful conversation about Allen’s fight for racial equity in media, the importance of Black-owned media companies, and his pursuit of “one America.”

This webinar will feature a Q&A session. Please submit your questions with your registration.

This opportunity is brought to you by BTBlack, the firm's network for our Black and African American teammates and allies.
