Wallace concentrates his practice on advising clients in a variety of regulatory and compliance matters, including issues arising under the Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law. He represents hospitals and other healthcare providers in civil and criminal investigations brought by government agencies on matters related to Medicare and Medicaid fraud and abuse claims.
Wallace has experience in transactional matters for a variety of providers in the healthcare industry, including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices and dialysis centers.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Wallace worked as an associate with McGuireWoods in Chicago and Arnold & Porter in Washington, D.C.
Wallace is a graduate of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he served as the Executive Notes & Comments Editor of the Indiana Law Journal and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He earned his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Indiana University.
