A voracious reader, Zachary Heller leverages his passion for learning, logic, and reason in advising and representing his clients. His goal is to best protect his client’s interest and lighten the burdens of the litigation process by being easy-to-work with, empathetic and responsive.
Zach focuses his practice on defending product liability and commercial litigation matters for manufacturers, distributors, and sellers of consumer and industrial products, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals, in complex and multi-district litigation actions across the country. He is also adept at e-discovery.
For clients facing or in the midst of litigation, Zach assists in managing relationships—including with opposing counsel—in order to help his clients work toward outcomes that are beneficial for their business.
In particular, his experience includes defending a major pharmaceutical company in several complex litigation matters, representing a Latin American automotive company in a contract dispute regarding manufacturing rights and representing a pet food company in false advertising litigation.
He drafts motions and briefs to help set up the best course of action and resolutions for litigations, including through negotiations and settlements.
As a result of earning his LLM, Zach also has developed a network of international attorneys. Those connections allow him to gain deeper understanding of the various legal systems around world and how they work, as well as the ability to source local counsel and experts abroad, whenever such needs arise for his clients.
Zach’s admission is pending to practice in the local courts of California.
