Having an interest in the sciences, Yuta Oishi works with intellectual property attorneys across the firm to provide insight into Japanese business and industry.
Yuta is a native Japanese speaker. His language skills and his experience as a licensed attorney in Japan (a bengoshi) are instrumental in helping Japanese clients conducting business in the U.S. and with international companies conducting business in Japan.
As an associate attorney with a Japanese law firm based in Tokyo, Yuta focused his practice in the areas of intellectual property and dispute resolution. In that role, he worked with a variety of Japanese clients, including pharmaceutical companies, chemical manufacturers, medical device manufacturers and medical corporations.
Yuta has written several articles in the area of intellectual property, including one that was published through Thomson Reuter’s Practical Law Global Guides.
Yuta is not admitted to the practice of law in the United States.
