As a personnel director and office administrator, Savannah Robinson considers herself a goal-setter and a goal-achiever. When she sees that something is wrong, she strives to find a way to make it right; when she thinks something can be improved, she seeks a way to make it better.
Savannah is responsible for ensuring that attorneys, paralegals and other Barnes & Thornburg legal personnel have the tools and resources they need to succeed.
In her legal personnel role, Savannah serves as the primary liaison for legal personnel matters among the firm’s legal and administrative departments. She is responsible for developing, enhancing and delivering an integrated approach to the full life cycle of the firm’s legal talent, including leading our alumni program; assessing and improving our sponsorship program; and providing strategic support and tactical resources to firm leadership.
In these efforts, Savannah works closely with the firm managing partner, office managing partners, department chairs and other senior leaders at the firm to develop and pursue those priorities and strategies. Additionally, and alongside the director of financial reporting and analysis, she helps develop and maintain processes and tools to evaluate the performance and compensation of our legal talent across our various departments and practice groups.
As administrator of the Fort Wayne office, Savannah works directly with the office managing partner on business development and strategic planning. She is responsible for daily administration of the office including, human resource functions, facilities, financial management, and marketing functions.
Always striving to be the best she can be, Savannah has a lean Six Sigma Certification. She also speaks regularly about empowering women and how to find your why, gain clarity and become a high performer – personally and professionally.
Savannah has been a lecturer at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (now Purdue University Fort Wayne) on human resource management and environmental policy for several years.
Of critical importance to Savannah, she is active in the community and passionate about giving back. Just as she does with her work, when she sees someone in need, she wants to be there to lend a hand.
