Sabra B. Northam is an associate and member of the Government Services and Finance Department in Barnes & Thornburg's Indianapolis office.
Before joining Barnes & Thornburg, Sabra gained experience as a legislative liaison with the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council. She developed and proposed strategic legislative plans to support public safety goals. Sabra also analyzed, tracked and articulated potential effects of legislation.
She also served as the assistant director for government relations for Indiana University, Public Affairs and Government Relations, where she researched and tracked bills and assisted the government affairs team members in relations with elected officials, staff, university administrators, lobbyists and advocates to further the university's interests.
