Peter Hamann’s litigation practice is focused on high-stakes corporate disputes and business tort litigation. Peter is appreciated for his strong communication skills, detailed case analysis and insightful solutions to challenging problems.
Peter’s clients range from middle market and small regional businesses to large national and multinational companies. He has litigated in both state and federal jurisdictions across the county.
Peter assists clients in virtually all phases of business disputes, from pre-suit assessment and negotiation through to trial. In litigation, Peter excels at turning complex factual and legal concepts into cogent, persuasive legal arguments.
In addition to his federal clerkship, Peter's experience includes handling criminal defense cases at a nonprofit legal aid organization in Chicago.
During law school, he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Edmond E. Chang of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
