Patricia Ellis is a paralegal in the Indianapolis, Indiana office of Barnes & Thornburg. A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, she is a member of the Litigation Department and focuses on commercial and business litigation.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Patricia was, among other things, a member of the Public Defenders office in Little Rock, Ark., and a court clerk in the United States District Court, Eastern Division of Arkansas. After moving to Indianapolis, she was a case administrator in the United States District Court, Indianapolis Division.
Patricia also assists Barnes & Thornburg attorneys in litigation defense including drafting pleadings, researching plaintiffs' backgrounds, maintaining and analyzing document inventories, preparing case chronologies, and providing the full range of trial preparation procedures.
She has been with Barnes & Thornburg since 2004.
