Sarah has successfully registered hundreds of trademarks and trade dress in the United States Patent & Trademark Office. She enjoys the opportunity to work with brands as they navigate the process of selecting new trademarks and strives to give valuable guidance to set her clients up for success.
She has extensive experience managing large trademark portfolios, negotiating licenses and other IP agreements, enforcing IP rights online through Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown notices, and representing clients in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings. Sarah’s clients appreciate her pragmatic approach and clear communication style.
Sarah evaluates and provides advice on advertising claims, including potential liability for false or misleading representations. She also advises clients on the legal issues surrounding contests, sweepstakes and other promotions.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys the arts, fashion, reading, travel, theater and museums.
