Elizabeth Stetzer is of counsel in the Indianapolis, Indiana office of Barnes & Thornburg and a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Department.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg as an associate, Elizabeth was a law clerk for the firm's Intellectual Property Department where she assisted in preparing, filing, and prosecuting patent applications both in the United States and foreign jurisdictions.
While in law school, Elizabeth also participated in the Judicial Externship Program in the fall of 2007 serving as a clerk for the Honorable Tim A. Baker of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
Her graduate research included the study of viral pathogenesis with an emphasis on disease transmission, regulation of viral gene expression, and viral infection and progression to malignancy. In the fall of 2002, she was nominated for the Midwest Association of Graduate Schools "Distinguished Thesis Award."
