OVERVIEW

With over a decade of experience in government and legislative services, Chris Greisl calls upon his unique perspective to support clients in critically important projects that shape their communities. Chris brings a deep understanding of the workings of government and provides clear, actionable solutions to matters involving various levels of government.

Chris brings keen insight to the needs of businesses and government entities as they intersect with regulation at the local, state and federal levels. He works with Indiana cities, towns and counties on a wide variety of business matters. Additionally, Chris represents state government agencies, advising on a wide variety of issues.

Chris' experience includes serving as the first city attorney for the city of Fishers, where he handled diverse and complex matters, including the $90 million acquisition of an investor-owned utility; railbanking and preserving the Nickel Plate railroad, leading to its conversion into a recreational trail system across central Indiana; creating a municipal health department in the midst of the pandemic; and managing various strategic land acquisitions and sophisticated procurement projects.

Prior to joining Fishers city government, Chris was the director of conciliation for the Indiana Education Employment Relations Board and labor policy counsel with the Indiana Department of Education.

As a former college athlete, Chris applies the same disciplines and skills that made him successful on the football field to his legal practice. While playing football at Wabash College, Chris was named team captain, received the Team Player Award, and was selected to the American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team for his work in the community.
