Chris’s experience included corporate governance, drafting and interpreting contracts, buying and selling businesses, and women and minority business certification, as well as M&A. He helped his clients make use of available state and local economic development incentives.
Chris represented businesses of all sizes, ranging from small privately held local and national companies to larger multinational corporations with a global presence. Competent and resourceful, patient and approachable, Chris was appreciated by clients and colleagues alike for his ability to answer their domestic and international business law questions. Chris knew what it took to keep his clients at the top of their game and was committed to delivering the advice, strategy and guidance needed to help them succeed.
Prior to the law, Chris enjoyed a thriving career in public service, serving in the office of Indiana Gov. Evan Bayh and for the Indiana Department of Commerce. His final post in state government was as deputy director of the International Trade Division of the Indiana Department of Commerce.
Having studied in Guadalajara and Barcelona and resided in Mexico City, Chris is fluent in Spanish, using his language skills with regularity for businesses involved in the Latin American market. Chris’ cultural savvy and calming presence allowed him to problem-solve when and where it is needed most, especially when negotiating and closing high-value transactions.
