Eric Fisher serves as trusted confidant and counselor, as well as the voice of reason, to clients who are in the midst of difficult and challenging disputes and litigation. With deep experience in federal and state trial and appellate courts, as well as with various alternative dispute resolution proceedings, Eric represents individuals and companies in a wide variety of cases.
Eric offers targeted strength in litigating contractual and partnership disputes or business breakups; breach of contract, fiduciary duty and business tort matters; and disputes with restrictive covenant components. His goal is to do whatever is necessary to defend his clients’ best interests, across a spectrum of business, employment, entertainment, finance, insurance and real estate disputes.
When individuals and companies, from startups to publicly traded corporations, are facing complex disputes, Eric guides them through the litigation process – reviewing every angle to help set up a roadmap for success, emphasizing early resolution if and whenever possible. He develops targeted litigation and negotiation strategies, conducts investigations and discovery, and supervises junior attorneys and paralegals along the way.
Eric strives to achieve favorable settlements and judgments that enforce contractual terms for employers with their contractors and employees, as well as to recover assets on behalf of creditors. He also litigates entertainment-related, commercial and employment matters for entertainment companies and individuals, and he represents landlords and tenants in various real estate litigation matters.
Eric has had success in virtually every type of legal proceeding – from jury trials in federal and state courts to arbitrations to appeals.
