Alexis helps companies solve a range of business disputes and has experience drafting motions, briefs, and discovery responses; performing research; and taking depositions. In the area of insurance coverage litigation, Alexis advises on virtually all stages of the dispute, from the initial legal analysis of coverage available under an insurance policy, to trial and appeal. As part of this practice, Alexis litigates coverage disputes related to professional liability, construction defect, commercial general liability, commercial property, and cyber policies.
In law school, Alexis served as a judicial law clerk to Justice Charlie Bethel of the Supreme Court of Georgia, and she interned for the State of Georgia Office of the Attorney General, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and a multinational corporation. Additionally, she was a research assistant for Professor Julian A. Cook.
Alexis is a proud and lifelong Georgian. In her free time, she enjoys walks in the great Georgia scenery, collecting records, and the occasional true crime drama.
