OVERVIEW

Niraj Parekh is a commercial litigator with more than 16 years of experience representing sophisticated clients in cutting-edge business matters, particularly with complex financial transactions and structured investment vehicle issues that have not been litigated before.

Niraj is well-versed in helping his clients navigate a broad range of commercial disputes, litigations and settlements at the trial and appellate levels. He understands and appreciates the strategic value of avoiding litigation, if and where possible, through effective legal and risk mitigation strategies to achieve his clients’ immediate needs and facilitate their overall business goals.

Niraj works on matters across a spectrum of industries, which keeps him constantly learning, growing and intellectually nimble. In particular, he advises and assists in matters involving antitrust, insurance, medical and pharmaceutical, securities litigations, commercial real estate, as well as general business transaction disputes.

Most recently, Niraj represented a number of financial services firms, guarantors, institutional investors, bankruptcy-appointed trustees and creditors, and other clients to evaluate, protect, and defend their legal rights in multimillion and multibillion dollar financial transactions and securities matters. Additionally, he has defended clients in government investigations and civil litigation alleging antitrust violations and unfair competition claims.

Among Niraj’s most valued attributes are not only how he navigates litigation processes and procedures, but how he communicates effectively with opposing counsel and judges to work toward a resolution that best meets his clients’ business goals.
