Through the firm’s valued network of foreign associates, Michelle oversees the logistical and timely administration of client matters in securing and enforcing IP rights around the world.
She is particularly well-versed in both trademark filings and litigation in foreign markets, including China.
Michelle helps clients manage their patent and trademark portfolios to ensure that all aspects of the client’s IP needs are identified and protected. She has deep knowledge of worldwide IP management and oversees thousands of patents and trademarks around the globe.
Michelle, while working under the guidance of attorneys, is a valuable resource and regularly communicates with clients to provide the most efficient and cost-effective avenue to obtaining and preserving intellectual property rights.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Michelle worked with Baker & Daniels LLP, where she was responsible for the maintenance of all patent and trademark files in its South Bend office.
