OVERVIEW

A trusted adviser and experienced litigator, Kevin Roberts works on high-stakes labor and employment and breach of contract matters. Kevin represents employers of all sizes in many different industries, including retail, manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, financial services, staffing and professional employer organizations, trucking and logistics, and hospitality.

Kevin handles litigation and appeals across the country, particularly in Indiana and Kentucky, as well as proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, U.S. Department of Labor and other federal, state, and local agencies.

Kevin helps employers prevent and, when needed, defend their toughest legal challenges, which often take the form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation claims. This includes claims under Title VII, Section 1981, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, and similar state laws.

In addition to advising on and litigating labor and employment matters, Kevin regularly counsels clients on and litigates disputes involving breaches of contract, covenants not to compete, trade secrets and related issues. In drafting restrictive covenants, Kevin counsels clients on both their enforceability and the practical realities of how such disputes play out in the real world.
