Kat Januszkiewicz handles the many challenges presented by complex product liability, toxic torts and asbestos litigation. Dedicated to providing practical solutions, Kat is appreciated for her determination and commitment.
Kat has experience defending clients in virtually all stages of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial support. She is involved in many aspects of trial preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, case assessment, pre-trial reports, and investigative memoranda, preparing deposition reports, and assisting in research projects. Additionally, Kat is skilled at reviewing and analyzing discovery requests, preparing discovery responses and reviewing expert reports.
Prior to joining the firm, Kat was an associate at a national law firm where she worked on toxic tort and product liability matters and participated in multi-district litigation. Kat also has experience working with a wide range of general practice matters, real estate transactions, matrimonial actions and family law matters.
In law school, Kat served as an intern for the Honorable Diccia Pineda-Kirwan of the Queens County Supreme Court. She also participated in an intensive immigration clinic where she worked with clients to obtain asylum.
Prior to her legal career, Kat studied archeology and participated in multiple excavations around the Mediterranean.
