Justine Farris-Niehaus is an associate in the Labor and Employment Department in Barnes & Thornburg’s Indianapolis office.
Justine represents clients on employment litigation and EEOC related issues and regularly assists in defending allegations of wrongful discharge, discrimination and harassment, wage and hour claims, and other employment litigation matters in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies.
Justine also assists clients in pre-litigation counseling on a variety of topics including employee drug-testing, harassment issues, review of employee handbooks, and non-compete matters.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg full-time, Justine was a summer associate in the Indianapolis office. She also gained experience as a judicial extern to the Honorable Timothy Oaks, Marion County Superior Court.
During law school, Justine was a legal writing tutor to first-year students through the Dean's Tutorial Society.
