Jeff Stone counsels national and international clients on patent strategy, patent prosecution and portfolio development. This includes rendering patent opinions, conducting due diligence, freedom-to-operate analyses and post-grant review (IPR). Jeff also advises on the transactional aspects of IP licensing, including joint research, development and commercialization agreements.
His clients range from startup and emerging companies through mid- to large-cap corporations focusing on developing life-saving medical devices. Jeff has deep experience with cardiovascular devices, including those that treat patients in the key areas of vascular intervention, structural heart valve supplementation and/or replacement, and heart failure, as well as with devices that detect and treat central nervous system disorders including, but not limited to, Alzheimer's disease and traumatic brain injury.
