OVERVIEW

A former editor, Beth Wei takes a detail-oriented approach to her paralegal work in preparing immigrant and nonimmigrant visa petitions, with a particular focus on helping clients understand the immigration process. She provides dedicated, top-notch customer service, while working to resolve issues for foreign nationals and client human resources representatives.

Levering the knowledge she gained working for two national law firms and her desire to help clients in their journeys to becoming lawful U.S. residents, Beth facilitates and advises on a variety of business immigration cases for a diverse range of corporate, nonprofit and education clients.

On a regular basis, Beth analyzes and integrates information to prepare immigration petitions, including L-1A, L-1B, H-1B, E-2, TN, STEM OPT Training Plans, EAD, Advance Parole, Re-Entry Permits, PERM Labor Certifications, I-140, I-485 Adjustment of Status and N-400 Naturalization. She also has experience tracking immigration expirations and monitoring the status of cases before and after filing.

Beth understands how changes and evolutions in immigration law, not just to the processes and procedures but even to the forms themselves, impacts her clients, their lives and their livelihoods. Her goal is to help them attain their personal and professional aspirations, while navigating this area of the law.

Before becoming a paralegal, Beth lived, worked and studied oversees, which gives her a particularly unique insight to her clients’ experiences. She spent twelve years in international education – serving as a university lecturer teaching applied foreign languages and ESL conversation and as an ESL magazine editor and educational T.V. host for Taiwan’s leading English-teaching organization. And while earning her undergraduate degree, Beth studied in the language and culture exchange program at Ningxia University in China, as well as at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom in Shakespearean literature.
