Dustin Stauffer is a conflicts attorney in the firm’s Office of General Counsel, where he advises firm leadership and attorneys on potential conflicts and compliance issues. Calling upon strong communication and analytical skills, Dustin is dedicated to helping the firm’s attorneys follow rules and procedures to best assist the firm’s endeavors.
With a deep understanding of the conflicts process, Dustin is focused on guiding firm attorneys and clients in risk mitigation and conflict assessment.
Dustin performs complex conflict analysis and conflict resolutions and matter engagement documentation. He also ensures timely and efficient processing of new-hire and research requests, verifying that research is done in a consistent and accurate manner.
Dustin has experience conducting conflicts training, assisting on process improvement projects and conducting and leading corporate research projects, including identifying and providing clearances for attorney review.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Dustin served as a conflicts team lead at an AmLaw 10 law firm. He regularly advised the global conflicts team on identifying, analyzing and resolving possible conflicts of interest.
Dustin is not regularly admitted to practice in the local courts of Georgia.
