Dennis has lectured on patent and trademark matters and has assisted in teaching courses in patent application preparation and claim drafting. He has been listed in Who's Who in American Law and the 2014 edition of The Best Lawyers in America' in the Patent and Trademark Law areas.
Dennis was awarded his B.S. in mechanical engineering and B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. He received his J.D. from Loyola University. Dennis has been active in the Intellectual Property Law Section of the American Bar Association, including acting as a committee chair for many years. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Dennis was recognized by the Leading Lawyers Network as one of the 2010 Leading Lawyers in Illinois and has also been listed in Illinois Super Lawyers.
