- INSIGHTS AND EVENTS
Daniel drafts complaints, motions, including summary judgment and dismissals, and discovery requests for virtually all types of commercial litigation. He also participates in witness interviews and depositions, and helps to prepare documents and parties for state court hearings.
During law school, Daniel was a judicial extern for the Honorable Tim A. Baker of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, where he drafted and revised orders regarding dispositive motions and Social Security appeals, and researched and prepared memos on U.S. Department of Justice regulations. With the opportunity to hear both sides of each dispute, he also gained an early perspective of settlement and pretrial conferences.
Daniel gained additional experience while earning his undergraduate degree as an intern with the Legal Aid Society. He also studied abroad at the Université de Paris Sorbonne.
In his free time, Daniel enjoys cooking, gardening, mixology, and farmhouse-style woodworking.
