Corporate paralegal Cynthia Hendzel offers nearly three decades of experience supporting an array of business transactions. Her years of experience, coupled with her can-do attitude and people skills, allow her to effectively support the attorneys and clients she serves when shepherding important deals and other legal matters to conclusion.
As a paralegal in the firm’s Corporate Department, Cynthia assists Barnes & Thornburg attorneys with mergers and acquisitions. Her other responsibilities include drafting articles of incorporation, bylaws, initial minutes and stock certificates. Moreover, she maintains the corporate minute books and prepares annual reports for a number of corporations.
In addition to her hard-earned years of experience in supporting transactions and other corporate law-related matters, Cynthia delivers honed skill in writing and research. Her attention to detail aid her as she applies diligence to creating thorough documentation and accurate, timely filings.
Prior to joining the firm, Cynthia spent more than 15 years as a paralegal for Sugar, Friedberg & Felsenthal LLP in Chicago. In that position, she focused on assisting with the formation of entities, governance and maintenance matters, as well as drafted and conducted UCC/lien/judgment searches and supported M&A activities, including preparation of closing documents.
