Curt Fiedler is a state relations advisor in the Chicago office of Barnes & Thornburg, where he focuses on helping clients navigate the legislative process and on government relations and legislative research throughout Illinois for the firm's Government Services and Finance Department.
Working closely with attorneys, Curt monitors legislation and analyzes policy issues in Illinois that affect clients. He has more than 10 years of broad lobbying experience at the state and local levels of government, and enjoys strong relationships with all four Illinois legislative caucuses, Office of the Governor and all constitutional officers, and executive state agencies.
Prior to joining the firm, he worked with Illinois House Republican Leader Tom Cross concentrating on state finance, economic development, state gaming, and taxation issues.
Curt earned his B.A., cum laude, in political science from Olivet Nazarene University in 2000.
