Christopher W. Fowlkes Partner
Chris tries tough personal injury and property damage cases arising out of the alleged defective design or manufacture of various consumer products and commercial litigation matters involving shareholder disputes, noncompete agreements and other types of business oriented litigation. Notably, he has represented a variety of household name product manufacturers in litigation claims that have received national headlines.
A former college football player, Chris vigorously defends his clients with the same passion and commitment he exhibited on the playing field. Chris has been responsible for developing the national litigation strategies of his clients and has implemented discovery strategies designed to deconstruct his opponent's liability theories. Chris has regularly coordinated and vetted potential expert witnesses for the defense of cases with national implications for his clients.
Chris makes a point of beginning each case with a multidimensional analysis of the dispute at hand. He focuses on creating a road map that seeks to limit surprises, adhere to his client's budget, and achieve the desired result. He puts his significant experience with the discovery and deposition phases of litigation to work for his clients.
Chris is appreciated by clients for serving as trusted adviser, and for his tenacity, business acumen and handling of sophisticated litigation. He focuses on providing the meticulous attention to detail and bigger-picture strategy needed both in and out of court.
