Most recently, Christopher has undertaken significant work in the export compliance arena. Namely, he serves on the team assisting the Special Compliance Coordinator appointed by the U.S. Department of Commerce to monitor, assess and report on the U.S. export control compliance of Zhongxing Telecommunications Equipment Corporation, of Shenzhen, China, and ZTE Kangxun Telecommunications Ltd. of Hi-New Shenzhen, China (collectively, ZTE).
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Christopher gained experience as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Charles M. Caldwell of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio and as a discovery attorney for the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District. In those roles, Christopher developed a diverse set of skills and experiences concerning bankruptcy law issues and civil litigation. He regularly conducted legal research and drafted bench memoranda, opinions and orders.
