The Fundamentals of Benchmarking and the FX Fix

On Sept. 23, Trace Schmeltz of the Chicago office presented at Profit and Loss' program, "The Fundamentals of Benchmarking and the FX Fix ," which was held at the Mid-America Club in Chicago. Trace weighed in on a panel discussion entitled "FX Fixings - Is there a better way?", in which he discussed the 19 different investigations by 11 countries into allegations that the FX Fix has been manipulated. Barnes & Thornburg also helped sponsor the event, which was attended by FX traders from around the world.
