For the 17th consecutive year, Charlie Denton of the Grand Rapids office coordinated and moderated the Annual Environmental Issues Forum for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce in Lansing, Michigan, on April 20. Presentations included: "Hazardous and Industrial Waste Rule Changes" presented by Tammy Helminski of the Grand Rapids office; "Waters of the U.S. and Wetlands" presented by Joel Bowers of the South Bend office; "OSHA Enforcement Update" presented by Don Lawless of the Grand Rapids office; and "Lessons Learned from the Flint Water Crisis" presented by a public relations expert and environmental public interest lawyer. Attendees included utilities, pulp and paper mills, automotive parts manufacturers, and environmental consultants, and included law firm clients ADAC Automotive, ARAUCO, Spartan Nash and Whirlpool.
