Will Thorsen is a conflicts attorney in the firm’s Office of General Counsel. With over a decade of experience as a conflicts and ethics attorney, Will advises on complex conflict analysis and conflict resolution to quickly and efficiently assist colleagues in bringing new business into the firm.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Will spent two years at an Am Law 200 firm as senior conflicts counsel and nine years at an Am Law 100 firm as a conflicts attorney, where he gained valuable experience identifying conflicts, enforcing firm-specific conflicts policies, analyzing engagement letters and outside counsel guidelines, overseeing conflict analysts, and implementing ethical screens.
Will also spent several years in litigation support conducting document and data collection, processing documents and data for database integration and attorney review, and post-review production and delivery in preparation for trial.
