Valarie Allen is Vice Chair, Public Finance, in the Government Services, Finance and Lobbying Department of Barnes & Thornburg and has spent decades advising transaction participants in the structuring, issuance, offering, remarketing, placement, restructuring and purchase of tax-exempt and taxable municipal securities, as well as other debt instruments and derivatives.
Consistently recognized as a Band 1 Public Finance practitioner by Chambers USA, Valarie serves as bond, borrower, underwriter, disclosure, purchaser’s and trustee counsel to clients nationwide across virtually all areas of public finance.
