A former Assistant United States Attorney and a seasoned litigator, Taylor Kirklin helps clients navigate their most intricate legal challenges from pre-litigation strategy through trial and appeal. With deep experience representing clients in complex disputes, he regularly handles cases involving the False Claims Act, business and commercial litigation, governmental investigations, and white-collar criminal matters.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Taylor served for nearly eight years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Indiana. In that role, Taylor served as the Office’s Health Care Fraud coordinator, representing the U.S. in qui tam suits, investigations, and litigation under the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Stark Law. He also served as the Office’s coordinator for affirmative environmental enforcement and served as a member of the region’s Environmental Crimes Taskforce.
