Shawn D. Bauer is a partner in Barnes & Thornburg's Indianapolis office. He practices primarily in the area of intellectual property law, concentrating in patent preparation and prosecution and associated matters with a technical emphasis in the mechanical, electro-mechanical, and software arts.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Shawn practiced at an Indianapolis-based intellectual property law firm where he worked with clients on a broad range of issues relating to patent and trademark law, including associated licensing and litigation matters.
