Sean Rucker advises clients on housing finance and public finance matters, counseling lenders, underwriters, credit enhancers, and issuers on the origination, structuring, issuance, purchase, and securitization of tax-exempt and taxable securities. His work spans financings tied to multifamily housing, municipal infrastructure, education, health care, and 501(c)(3) organizations.
Sean regularly represents government-sponsored enterprises and their seller-servicers as joint counsel on affordable multifamily housing financings nationwide, including securitizations of existing debt secured by multifamily developments. He also brings public policy experience to his practice, having served as appointed special counsel in the Executive Office of Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, where he advised the governor and her legal team on proposed legislative and executive measures developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
