Scott Boyle represents policyholders spanning a wide range of industries, including construction, residential and commercial property development, manufacturing, and governmental entities, at every stage of the claim process. Scott works to understand his clients’ priorities and leverages a strong understanding of insurance law, risk management, and the insurance industry to help them contest denials and underpayments in litigation, arbitration, mediation, and appeals.

Scott guides clients through all stages of an insurance claim, from initial notice of a claim through litigation and appeal. Scott works tirelessly at every step to develop strategies that align with the client’s priorities and maximize the possibility of recovery. Scott has leveraged this approach to successfully litigate complex, multi-party and multi-insurer disputes involving a broad range of coverage lines, including commercial general liability, errors and omissions, professional liability, directors and officers’ liability, property, and pollution liability policies. He also has experience prosecuting claims against payment and performance bonds.

Prior to joining the firm, Scott gained experience representing property developers, residential landlords, contractors, tradesmen, design professionals, investment funds, and manufacturers in litigation and government investigations. He also served as a judicial intern for U.S. Magistrate Judge Deborah A. Robinson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and as a legal intern in the Criminal II Section of the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division.
