Reina Terry uses her knowledge and disciplined nature to help her clients through business ventures that result in their own changes and expansions.

Focusing her practice in the areas of employee benefits, Reina helps to create and update benefit-related and 401k plans for corporations of various sizes, as well as with estate planning, healthcare, and general corporate transactional work. She drafts and reviews employee benefit plans to ensure they are compliant with current tax and labor laws.

In addition, she crafts wills and trusts and other organizational documents, such as operating agreements, board and shareholder resolutions and stock purchasing agreements.

An intentional listener and personable, Reina focuses on building relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded. 

Prior to joining the firm full-time, Reina was a law clerk with Barnes & Thornburg, where she worked on a range of ERISA, corporate, M&A and litigation matters, among others. She gained additional experience as a legal compliance extern with the Georgia State University Athletics Department Reina provided updates on changing NCAA legislation and regulations and drafted and reviewed NCAA compliance contracts, among other responsibilities. She also worked as a legal intern with another Atlanta law firm.

Notably, she was the first African-American female editor-in-chief of Emory's Corporate Governance and Accountability Review journal.

Reina was captain of Troy University’s Division 1 women’s volleyball team, while earning her undergraduate degree.

Quite the travel adventurer, Reina has taken frequent 24-hour international trips, giving her exposure to people and cultures around the world. Her first trip abroad was for a summer study abroad program in Havana, Cuba.
