Aaron drafts motions and discovery, and assists with witness interviews and trial preparation, as well as with internal investigations and reviews in a variety of contexts. He also advises on voluntary reporting, public disclosures and remediation.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg full-time, Aaron gained significant legal experience as a summer associate at the firm and as a student attorney for the Caprock Regional Public Defender Clinic, where he represented clients accused of crimes who would otherwise be unable to afford legal representation.
In addition, Aaron was a judicial intern in the 282nd Judicial District Court of Texas. He also was a small business owner in the real estate, healthcare technology and group fitness industries.
During law school, Aaron competed in various advocacy tournaments that honed his skills in trial and appellate advocacy, negotiations and arbitration. He also served as the director of negotiations for the Board of Barristers, and was the Student Government Association’s student representative on the Honor Council, which oversaw hearings involving students accused of Honor Code violations.
