He appreciates fostering client relationships and understanding his clients’ needs and businesses. As a tenacious problem-solver, David views client matters in a holistic manner, allowing him to identify creative solutions to complex issues.
He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and securities regulations matters and filings. David also represents private equity firms and portfolio companies in various transactional needs. Additionally, he has experience providing counsel to healthcare companies and private equity firms in transactional matters.
Before starting his legal career, David worked in various roles within the wealth management and finance industry. He counseled clients on asset selections and individualized investment strategies and assisted clients with structuring and administering large blocks of life insurance, annuities and insurance-backed investments. Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, he practiced with another Nashville law firm.
