As a conflict attorney in the firm’s Office of General Counsel, Jordan Quillen is responsible for advising the firm’s attorneys regarding potential conflicts. As a conflict attorney in the firm’s Office of General Counsel, Jordan Quillen is responsible for advising the firm’s attorneys regarding potential conflicts. Jordan understands the role that conflicts can play in the firm’s endeavors, and is committed to ensuring alignment with necessary rules, processes and procedures.

Jordan Quillen is an analytically driven attorney with a focus on conflict assessment and risk management. Jordan is able to break down the conflicts process and effectively guide attorneys so they best understand how to identify and mitigate any potential risks.

When assessing new business and projects for current clients, Jordan brings her experience, attention to detail and critical thinking skills, from her time evaluating ethics and in law firms to the forefront. Namely, she addresses virtually all types of conflicts-related issues, from reviewing conflicts and evaluating related questions or concerns to assisting with securing consent from attorneys and clients. She also helps draft engagement letters. 

Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Jordan was an associate with an Indianapolis law firm, where she advised and counseled on real estate and property related law, and handled matters involving contracts, homeowners associations (HOAs), and civil rights claims.

During law school, Jordan was a law clerk for the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission, where she helped with ethics research and evaluating attorney misconduct.
