Keanen assists with structuring aviation transactions, including domestic and foreign-based aircraft purchases and sales. He also prepares aircraft leases, joint ownership agreements, and a range of additional documentation in support of owning and operating private aircraft.
He also offers insights regarding tax considerations attendant to aircraft transactions, such as federal excise tax planning, state sales and use tax planning, and depreciation planning.
Prior to joining the firm, Keanen practiced law in northern Michigan, where he advised small, closely held businesses on various corporate and real estate matters.
When he’s not assisting his clients, Keanen enjoys taking cooking classes and spending time with his wife.
