Timothy's practice includes assisting clients with acquisitions and dispositions of businesses, strategic planning, commercial contracts, and other general corporate matters. Timothy also provides legal advice to financial institutions regarding commercial and real estate transactions. In addition, he counsels clients regarding successor planning for corporations.
Since 2015, Timothy has been recognized on The Best Lawyers in America list.
Timothy received his B.A. in history from DePauw University in 1986, graduating magna cum laude. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law in 1990. While in law school, Timothy was a note and comment editor of the Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. Upon graduation from law school, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. Kenneth F. Ripple of the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.
Timothy has been and continues to be active in the community, and currently serves on the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Nappanee.
Timothy is admitted to practice in Indiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.
