Ilana is skilled in virtually all phases of case development, including pre-litigation strategy, discovery, motion practice, hearings and preparation for trial. She knows how important sound advice and strategy are to a successful enterprise.
Ilana's practice centers on representing businesses, organizations, and individuals in commercial litigation matters and disputes. She advises on complex actions involving breach of contract and fiduciary duties, partnership disputes, and other general business contract and tort claims. Ilana takes pride in bringing a collaborative and strategic brand of representation to each matter.
Prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg, Ilana worked at another AmLaw 100 firm where she was heavily involved in various stages of complex litigation. She zealously advocated for her clients, counseling them on risk management and liability and actively participated in dispute resolution.
During law school, Ilana was a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Margaret Morrow of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Outside of work, Ilana is a nationally ranked table tennis player, practices Bikram yoga, and is an avid traveler.
