Ashley F. Deweese

Ashley focuses her practice in commercial real estate in the industrial, multi-family, office, hospitality, retail and healthcare arenas, working on various investment, development and leasing transactions from inception through closing.

She has broad experience representing buyers, sellers, developers, borrowers and investors in nationwide acquisitions, dispositions and development of vacant and developed real property. She also advises landlords and tenants in leasing and management of commercial properties, fund managers and investors in joint venture and private equity transactions, and borrowers and lenders in the negotiation and due diligence aspects of real estate financing.

She also has experience with corporate transactions, including the formation and structuring of property-related joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.

What Ashley enjoys most about her work is the people, particularly connecting like-minded people to one another. She proactively seeks out opportunities to leverage her network and build bridges, which benefit those individuals and their businesses.

During law school, Ashley gained legal experience as an intern with Dr. Pepper Snapple Group and Sun Holdings, Inc., and as an extern for the Honorable Barbara Houser, chief judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas. She also completed a study abroad program through Southern Methodist University at University College in Oxford, England.
