Neil Begley focuses his practice on representing hedge funds, private equity sponsors, CLO managers, financial institutions, and high-net-worth individuals in complex transactions involving distressed and illiquid assets. He advises clients on the acquisition and disposition of corporate bank loans (including LSTA and LMA trades), bankruptcy claims, trust interests, post-reorganization securities, and litigation claims.

Neil regularly counsels clients on the review and analysis of credit agreements, bond indentures, and restructuring support and lock-up agreements. His experience spans a wide range of distressed and special situations investments, including rights offerings, plan voting strategies, distribution mechanics, confidentiality and MNPI considerations, and trade disputes. He is frequently called upon to guide clients through auctions of distressed assets, from bid procedures through the negotiation of definitive transaction documentation.
