Neil regularly counsels clients on the review and analysis of credit agreements, bond indentures, and restructuring support and lock-up agreements. His experience spans a wide range of distressed and special situations investments, including rights offerings, plan voting strategies, distribution mechanics, confidentiality and MNPI considerations, and trade disputes. He is frequently called upon to guide clients through auctions of distressed assets, from bid procedures through the negotiation of definitive transaction documentation.
Prior to entering private practice, Neil served as an assistant vice president and officer at FCIA Management Company, a subsidiary of American Financial Group, where he underwrote and managed complex credit risk insurance portfolios. He also served as a legal intern to the Honorable Stephen S. Mitchell of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
