He guides startup entities in securing financing, helps Fortune 500 companies, and foreign-based venture capitalists invest in the U.S. He also advises boards of directors on internal investigations related to alleged wrongdoings, and financial advisors in connection with the advice that they give to boards of directors.
When corporate governing boards or company owners feel threatened by a potential hostile takeover, Michael advises on defensive tactics that can help maintain their controlling interest. Likewise, he regularly advises activists and other stockholders regarding possible representation on boards of directors and in, as well as financial advisors in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
