Maddie’s experience includes developing privacy policies, preparing state of the art cybersecurity training materials and drafting terms of use documents for clients. She is recognized as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) and is certified in cybersecurity by (ISC)2.
Prior to joining the firm, Maddie practiced as a data privacy and corporate attorney with an Indiana law firm. While completing her master’s degree and J.D., Maddie attended several data privacy and cybersecurity conferences, including the 2021 BlackHat conference and the 2022 CyCon conference in Tallin, Estonia.
Maddie gained valuable skills through a legal externship with Justice Christopher M. Goff of the Indiana Supreme Court and as a student affiliate with Indiana University’s Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research, where she developed and updated data security policies for local businesses.
